What UGC-CARE Journal Verification Portal Does
The UGC-CARE Journal Verification Portal is an independent reference portal by Delhi Crest Enterprise. UGC has discontinued the UGC-CARE list of journals, and this portal lets researchers, faculty members and institutions quickly check whether a journal was in the final list (as on 10 February 2025). Search by ISSN, E-ISSN, reference number or journal name across 1,475 records and see each journal's reference number, ISSN, coverage period and impact factor. The portal also explains the UGC public notice of 11 February 2025 and lists UGC's suggestive parameters for choosing peer-reviewed journals, so authors can use them as a checklist before submitting a paper. It is not an official UGC website.
